The recognition highlights its digital transformation in supply chain management, which focuses on automation, system integration, and real-time visibility across healthcare logistics operations.

The initiative centres on two key systems: Project Horizon and a Transport Management System (TMS). Together, they replace manual workflows with intelligent automation and data-driven coordination.

Project Horizon uses AI-powered purchase order to sales order automation to digitise order processing. The system extracts order information from emails and attaches purchase orders through text recognition, matches it against master data, and creates orders through integration with SAP using application programming interfaces and robotic process automation. This reduces manual validation and data entry, lowers the risk of errors, and enables real-time processing. It also improves responsiveness to customer enquiries and supports accurate handling of healthcare products.

The TMS focuses on fleet optimisation and delivery performance. It improves route planning and on-time deliveries, which results in the reduction of two trucks in operations. Real-time tracking and predictive planning reduce delivery exceptions and strengthen reliability, particularly for cold-chain and clinical product distribution. Analytics dashboards provide operational visibility and support decision-making, with seamless integration across warehouse and inventory systems.

Through these systems, DKSH Malaysia Sdn Bhd embeds digital capabilities into its core operations. The integration across order management, warehousing, transport, and inventory platforms enhances traceability and safeguards product integrity. It also creates a scalable model for digital order management and logistics coordination.
