Medtronic (Thailand) Ltd. wins at Healthcare Asia Medtech Awards 2026

The company partnered with Chulalongkorn University to deliver digital medical education across Asia.

Since 2022, Medtronic has established a strategic partnership with the Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University (MDCU), alongside King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital (KCMH), through the MedUMore platform. Anchored in a shared ambition to transform medical education through digital innovation, the collaboration aims to expand access to high-quality learning and support healthcare capability-building across Thailand and the Asia region.

As leading academic and clinical institutions, MDCU and KCMH play an important role in advancing lifelong learning for healthcare professionals. Medtronic, as a global healthcare technology leader, aligns with this focus by supporting education that advances scientific knowledge, improves patient access to optimal treatment options, and enhances healthcare delivery. This strong alignment of purpose enabled the organisations to move beyond a traditional industry–academic model and establish a trust-based, co-creation partnership.

Through MedUMore, Medtronic Thailand and its partners have jointly developed scalable digital medical education programmes that integrate academic expertise with advanced medical technology. Delivered via MDCU’s online learning platform and supported by Medtronic’s Virtual Operation Lab, these programmes combine expert-led content, immersive virtual learning, case-based demonstrations, and interactive problem-solving. Together, they create accessible, flexible learning experiences designed to evolve with healthcare needs and support continuous professional development.
