Tam Anh group launches $95m university in Vietnam
The university merges academics, clinical practice, research, and biopharmaceutical output.
Tam Anh University, a Tam Anh General Hospital Group affiliate, was established on 30 December 2025 under a signed decision, the hospital group announced in a LinkedIn post.
With an initial investment of about $95m (VND 2.5t), the university offers Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, Medical Laboratory Technology, and Biotechnology, alongside other fields such as Information Technology, Management, International Business, Law, and Marketing.
The university is located in Tay Ninh Province, Vietnam, and aims to meet the demand for high-quality domestic healthcare by integrating education, clinical practice, scientific research, vaccination, and the production of vaccines and biologicals.
Whilst enrolment is set to begin in 2027, international standard programmes have already been launched, the group citing a Research Design & Data Governance training with the University of Oxford.
Medical practice training takes place directly at high‑tech hospitals and medical centres within the Tam Anh General Hospital Group in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
The Pharmacy faculty of Tam Anh is also connected to the Vietnam Vaccine Corporation vaccine plant and other nationwide vaccination networks, whilst its curriculum is updated through partnerships with world-leading institutions.
