Avisena Healthcare, IIUM ink MoU to support nursing education

The partnership supports Avisena’s ongoing expansion.

Avisena Healthcare has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) to support nursing education and workforce development.

The partnership supports the group’s manpower development initiatives in preparation for ongoing expansion projects, including the expansion of existing facilities in Shah Alam and a new hospital in Cyberjaya.

Under the agreement, Avisena will sponsor nursing students from the Kulliyyah of Nursing, IIUM Kuantan, and plans to expand sponsorship opportunities in the future.

The MoU was signed by Osman Bakar, Rector of IIUM, and Puan Elina Nadia Omar, Group CEO of Avisena Healthcare.
