HMI Medical, Ibraco ink land deal for new Kuching Hospital

The 300-bed facility is expected to open in 2029.

Health Management International Pte Ltd (HMI Medical) has signed a memorandum of agreement (MoA) with Ibraco Berhad for the acquisition of land to build its third hospital in Malaysia.

Under the MoA, HMI Medical will establish and operate the 300-bed tertiary hospital, which is expected to open in 2029.

The new facility, to be named Regency Hospital Kuching, will be located within The NorthBank township, a mixed development in Kuching, Sarawak, developed by Ibraco.
