Regency Specialist Hospital advances patient care with new Smart Ward
The system uses real-time monitoring and connected devices to enable faster and personalised care.
Regency Specialist Hospital, part of HMI Medical, has introduced its Next-Gen Smart Ward in Johor—a new system designed to improve patient care through digital tools and automation.
Developed with the Chang Gung Medical Foundation and Taiwan’s Lanseed Medical Group, the system uses real-time monitoring and connected devices to help doctors and nurses deliver faster and more personalised care whilst improving patient safety and comfort.
The Smart Ward includes six key features: a nursing dashboard displayed on smart TVs, smart patient bedside terminals, e-paper displays, automated vital signs and body measurement integration, a mobile app for nurses, and a digital nursing cart.
