Australia invests $2.6m for oral health research
The funding will support five research projects.
The Australian Government is investing nearly $2.6m (A$4m) in oral health research through the National Health and Medical Research Council’s (NHMRC) Targeted Call for Research: Oral Health Care in Australia 2024.
The funding will support five research projects aimed at identifying and addressing gaps in the development and implementation of effective oral health interventions at the population level.
The initiative will also help expand national research capacity and strengthen the evidence base for targeted interventions, said NHMRC CEO Steve Wesselingh.
