North East CDC adds colorectal cancer to support scheme

Eligible residents will receive up to $11,643.88 (S$15,000).

The North East Cancer Warrior Support Scheme in Singapore has been expanded to cover colorectal cancer.

Eligible residents will receive up to $11,643.88 (A$15,000) in financial assistance for treatment, said Minister of State for Transport and for Culture, Community and Youth, Yam Keng Baey.

The scheme was first launched by the North East Community Development Council in 2023 to support breast cancer patients.
