India’s robotic surgical systems market eyes 10% CAGR growth until 2036
Thanks to wider hospital adoption and increased training in robotic surgery techniques.
India’s robotic surgical systems market is expected to witness a compound annual growth rate of 10% through 2036, according to a GlobalData report.
The sector’s expansion is attributed to increased adoption in hospitals across the country and a focus on medical training in robotic surgery techniques.
A notable development includes Aster MIMS Calicut's introduction of North Kerala’s first Da Vinci Xi Robotic Surgical System.
Meanwhile, India has accounted for around 6% of the robotic surgical systems market in the Asia-Pacific region in 2024.
“Currently, India holds a smaller portion of the Asia-Pacific robotic surgical systems market, but as its infrastructure improves and adoption further increases,” said Shamreen Parween, Medical Devices Analyst at GlobalData.
“The increasing integration of robotic surgical technology is significantly transforming India’s healthcare landscape,” Parween added.
