Construction begins on $16m Finley Hospital Redevelopment
It is expected to be completed in 2027.
Construction has begun on the $16m (A$25m) Finley Hospital Redevelopment in New South Wales, according to the Australian government.
The project includes new inpatient rooms, a relocated medical imaging unit, and a new ultrasound service.
It will also expand and reconfigure the hospital’s reception area, upgrade the emergency department, and improve staff facilities.
The redevelopment has been informed by feedback and consultation with health professionals, staff, patients, Aboriginal community representatives and the Local Health Advisory Committee.
It is expected to be completed in 2027.
