Finley Health Service redevelopment moves forward in NSW

Major construction is expected to begin later this year.

The $16.1m (A$25m) Finley Health Service redevelopment in New South Wales is progressing, with construction firm Barpa appointed as the main works contractor.

The Australian government said site establishment works are expected to start in the coming months, with major construction expected to begin later this year.

The redevelopment will provide new and refurbished clinical spaces aimed at supporting health services for local communities in Finley, Berrigan, Barooga, Tocumwal and Jerilderie.

Key features include new inpatient rooms, a new ultrasound service, an upgraded emergency department, and an expanded reception area.
