Redevelopment begins at Port Macquarie Private Hospital
It is expected to be completed by April 2026.
Construction has begun on the $6.4m (A$10m) redevelopment of Port Macquarie Private Hospital in Australia.
Stage one of the project includes the addition of a seventh operating theatre, the introduction of onsite radiology, and upgrades to 12 patient rooms, said Port Macquarie Private Hospital CEO, Moira Finch.
“A new main reception area, expanded day surgery admission area, and additional parking will improve the hospital experience for patients and visitors alike,” Finch added.
The project will also feature a new central sterilising area.
The redevelopment is expected to be completed by April 2026.
