LumanLab develops AI tool for child development
The platform helps detect developmental delays early using parent-uploaded videos and surveys analysed by AI.
South Korea’s LumanLab is making early childhood developmental screening more accessible with its AI-powered platform.
“It is a child developmental assessment tool for children aged one to seven years old,” said Euikyum Kim, COO of LumanLab, during Medical Taiwan 2025. “Our parents unloaded their children's video and did some questions with surveys, then our AI analysed… then showed the result of the children's development status. You can screen it with your smartphone.”
The tool addresses a critical need for early detection. “If children have developmental delays or disabilities, they need to help with early intervention… but there is no such thing like our… tool for their early intervention,” Kim said
