The initiative includes $652,000 (A$1m) of planning funding from the state budget.
A new $19.6m (A$30m) cancer treatment facility is set to be established at the Geraldton Health Campus in Western Australia, according to the Australian government.
The initiative includes approximately $652,000 (A$1m) of planning funding from the 2025-2026 State Budget.
The investment comes as the Geraldton Health Campus redevelopment continues to progress with the building structure complete and Multiplex now entering its fit-out stage.
The redeveloped campus will feature an expanded emergency department, a new intensive care, and high high-dependency unit.
It will also include an integrated mental health service comprising an adult mental health inpatient unit and a mental health short-stay unit.
