Australia’s Hollywood Private Hospital to expand with two cath labs

Hollywood Private Hospital in Western Australia will soon begin the construction of two new cardiac catheterisation laboratories.

The expansion will increase the hospital’s total number of cath labs to six.

The investment follows the state’s growing demand for specialist heart care, according to Hollywood Private Hospital Chief Executive Officer Andrew Tome.

“Heart disease remains one of the leading causes of hospitalisation in Australia, and this expansion ensures we’re well placed to care for more patients when they need us most,” Tome said.
