Western Australia’s Virtual Emergency Department (WAVED) has expanded its services through a new partnership with Healthdirect Australia.
Eligible adults calling the telehealth service can now be referred to WAVED for clinical assessment and support, without needing to attend an emergency department.
Healthdirect offers phone or video consultations with a general practitioner when a patient’s usual doctor is unavailable.
