South Korea launches support centre for biohealth firms
The facility will be based at the Korea Health Industry Development Institute.
South Korea has launched a support centre to strengthen the country’s biohealth companies and mitigate the potential impacts of US-initiated tariff measures.
The Biohealth Industry Tariff Support Center will work closely with relevant government ministries, including the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, and the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
Moreover, it will collaborate with key organisations such as the Korea International Trade Association, the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency, the Korea Trade Insurance Corporation, and the Export-Import Bank of Korea.
The centre will be based at the Korea Health Industry Development Institute, the country’s specialised healthcare industry support agency.
