Healthway Medical Network lands two wins at Healthcare Asia Awards 2025

The company took home Specialty Clinic of the Year - Philippines and the Vaccination Delivery of the Year - Philippines titles.

Healthway Medical Network (HMN), Ayala Corporation’s healthcare provider group, received major accolades during the coveted Healthcare Asia Awards 2025 for its success in redefining accessible healthcare in the Philippines through its transformative growth and steadfast commitment to delivering care beyond cure.

Since the acquisition by Ayala Corporation’s AC Health in 2019, HMN’s outpatient multi-specialty centres and clinics have expanded locations and enhanced their services, in line with its mission to bring quality healthcare to more Filipinos. As of today, HMN now comprises five full-service hospitals, 16 outpatient clinics and multi-specialty centres, and the first dedicated specialty centre for cancer in the Philippines, the Healthway Cancer Care Hospital.

In less than three years, the clinic footprint more than doubled, adding seven more clinics to the network, five of which are outside Metro Manila to cater to more communities. This growth has not only extended HMN’s geographic reach but has also reinforced its commitment to quality care.

The original seven outpatient centres, which formed the foundation of HMN’s reputation, are currently undergoing comprehensive updates and upgrades to elevate the patient experience. Modern aesthetics and a renewed focus on patient comfort ensure that these clinics feel fresh, welcoming, and aligned with quality healthcare standards.

Other new additions include digital mammograms, with future plans to build outpatient dialysis centres in select clinics. These expanded offerings aim to meet diverse patient needs, ensuring convenience and efficiency for every visit.

This approach highlights the organisation’s role as a trailblazer in bridging healthcare gaps and redefining how and where care is delivered. As people’s health needs evolve, so does HMN’s approach to healthcare, as manifested in its continued geographic and service expansion. Taken together, these initiatives earned the company the recognition of Specialty Clinic of the Year - Philippines.

Revolutionising access to preventive care

Meanwhile, in its commitment to addressing the growing need for preventive healthcare amidst emerging health threats, HMN has also established the innovative VaxHub — a dedicated space for vaccinations designed to make preventive healthcare more accessible, affordable, and patient-centric.

VaxHub places preventive care at the forefront of care. This setup provides easy access to vaccinations, which is particularly important in the Philippines, where vaccines are perceived to be expensive and hard to find.

Because they are currently housed within the HMN facilities, these VaxHubs have significantly increased vaccination uptake. Patients now have a one-stop shop to avail of any vaccines they may need at affordable prices.

For HMN, VaxHub represents more than just a vaccination service; it signifies a movement towards making prevention central in healthcare discourse.

“As we look ahead to the future of healthcare, VaxHub stands ready to meet new challenges head-on. It embodies HMN’s vision for a healthier tomorrow—one where prevention is not just an option but an integral part of everyday life,” the company said.

VaxHub brought HMN the Vaccination Delivery of the Year - Philippines category win for its milestone in redefining preventive care delivery.
