Australian gov’t extends funding for men’s health checks in rural NSW
The funding supports the Men’s Health Education Rural Van.
The Australian government has allocated approximately $31,700 (A$50,000) to support free health checks for men in rural and regional New South Wales.
The funding will cover the Men’s Health Education Rural Van (MHERV) operational expenses and nursing services for the first regional tour of the year, scheduled from early February to mid-June.
MHERV, a mobile home-style health unit, provides screenings for conditions such as high blood pressure, high blood sugar, and high cholesterol.
