Australia invests $128m in Bathurst Hospital redevelopment

The Australian government is investing $128m (A$200m) in the Bathurst Hospital redevelopment in New South Wales.
The redevelopment will feature an expanded emergency department, maternity services, and a new non-acute mental health inpatient unit.
Other planned improvements include upgrades to inpatient, outpatient, and community health services, operating theatres, cardiology services, and a dedicated paediatrics zone.
Moreover, the project also includes additional parking on and around the hospital campus.
