ZP Therapeutics bagged Healthcare Asia Pharma Awards 2024 for continuing medical education

It has engaged global medical experts and opinion makers to set up medical education events.

ZP Therapeutics, a division of Zuellig Pharma, brought home the Most Differentiated Service of the Year - Singapore category win at the recently held Healthcare Asia Pharma Awards 2024 for its successful execution of continuing medical education (CME) initiatives that have been recognised by various medical associations.

This comes amidst the company identifying evidence-informed clinical decision-making as a gap for the medical community in Asia.

ZP Therapeutics worked with more than 30 global medical experts and opinion makers to set up a series of medical education events, covering breast and lung cancer, osteoporosis, type 2 diabetes, infectious disease, men’s health, and immunological disorders. Approximately 36 events were developed to engage more than 7,000 healthcare practitioners (HCP) through 200 hours of face-to-face and virtual CME and innovative skills-building workshops.

It is getting closer to the aspiration of being the most preferred partner for scientific collaborations in Asia, recognised for its efforts to bridge the scientific gap and upskilling the knowledge of relevant HCPs.

“By bringing global experts and clinical investigators in Asia, we are able to timely share important treatment guidelines to HCPs across countries and provide a forum for HCPs to engage with the experts. This exponentially multiplies the scientific sharing as the HCPs pursue to share information in their respective countries,” the company said.

Healthcare Asia Pharma Awards honours outstanding companies in Asia that have demonstrated unwavering commitment to innovation and excellence and have redefined pharmaceutical excellence.
