Fullerton Healthcare wins  Healthcare Asia's Best Primary Care Provider of the Year Award

APAC’s leading healthcare company wins this award in Singapore for the 4th year running. Lauded for exceptional utilisation of resources during the pandemic.

Eleven years ago, Fullerton Health started with a handful of GP clinics in Singapore. Today, they own close to 600 facilities, servicing close to 13 million healthcare transactions a year across nine countries. A deep understanding of a patient’s need in a local context allows for knowledge transfer and implementation of best practices.

With integrity, compassion, innovation, partnership, and teamwork as the core values that drive the company, Fullerton provides their expertise in delivering customised solutions to clients whilst leveraging synergies that deliver sustainable medical cost management in outpatient medical, diagnostic, pharmacy, and allied health services sectors.

This expertise has been greatly utilised during the COVID-19 pandemic. The company has been actively providing support for their corporate clients through providing frequent updates and advisories via e-newsletters to update their clients and employees on the latest information about the virus to give assurance to those who are afraid. Videos on infection control such as hand hygiene, the proper way to wear a surgical mask properly and other related content were also produced and disseminated to educate people. Consultations with clients to help companies who operate transport and frontline services to continue to function whilst keeping their people safe.

The healthcare provider also kept a tight ship across all their clinics by ensuring an adequate supply of personal protection equipment (PPE),  enforcement of strict infection control protocols, and enhanced features of their telemedicine platforms to encourage social distancing. All these measures are to keep the people, patients, and facilities safe.

Through Telehealth, they started the Chronic Medication Refill program across all their retail and onsite clinics to refill medications for chronic patients. Therefore, patients could get their medications delivered to their homes without the need to visit the doctor's clinic.

A COVID-19 Symptom Checker was also launched at the height of the pandemic in 2020 for people to get the information they need, get channeled to the right agency for the help that they need, and chat with a medical professional should they have concerns.

Fullerton Health currently runs 10 vaccination centres and in efforts to serve all their patients, clients and communities better opened their telemedicine application to all. Anyone with a post COVID19 vaccination concerned can do a telemedicine consult at no cost.

The challenges brought by these trying times give a glimpse of how prompt response and the right use of technology allow for proper care. This has given Fullerton Health the edge among other healthcare companies and has earned them the honour of winning Healthcare Asia's Best Primary Care Provider of the Year Award.

Fullerton Health is the leading integrated healthcare operator of in-house and retail GP clinics, diagnostics centres, rehab services and executive health screening centres in Singapore and the region. They will always continue to challenge and improve. Benchmarking higher standards for value, service, and patient outcomes.
