Bangkok Hospital Pattaya's patients clear winners in the Healthcare Asia Awards 2019

Bangkok Hospital Pattaya was awarded with three prestige Healthcare Asia Awards at the recently concluded competition acknowledging the hospital’s excellence in patient care.

The awards were the Corporate Social Responsibility Award, the Management Innovation of the Year Award, and the ICT Initiative of the Year Award. All of this recognition follows internal review of Patient Satisfaction scores.

The Corporate Social Responsibility award came from the hospital’s promotion of the importance of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) as a lifesaving skill for emergency situations in the entire community. Immediate application of CPR techniques increases the chances of survival and achieving optimum treatment results.

The hospital has developed its iRESCUE project for five years, spreading life saving techniques and first aid training including CPR and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) at educational institutions and select communities, these as well as with individuals and even the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation. An estimated 20,000 people have been successfully trained in this way and countless numbers of patients saved by these immediate techniques.

The hospital was given two more awards, the Management Innovation of the Year Award and the ICT Initiative of the Year Award, thanks to its “Business Intelligent Initiative being used in the Bangkok Hospital Pattaya, and Bangkok Hospital Eastern Group.

Collating strategic data from the Bangkok Hospital Eastern Group has produced a strengthening in the day to day operations, and resulting in the Bangkok Hospital Pattaya’s Trauma Center being judged as a Center of Excellence.

The Bangkok Hospital Pattaya received the awards as proof of its commitment to its patients, as well as being the largest tertiary care private hospital on the Eastern Seaboard, whilst heightening its position of health care leader in the area.
