RadLink Asia Pte Ltd wins Healthcare Asia Awards 2019 for Diagnostics Provider of the Year

The Company’s continuous investment in cutting edge technology has made it a leading diagnostics imaging provider in Asia Pacific.

As Singapore’s largest private provider of diagnostic imaging, molecular imaging and teleradiology services, RadLink Asia Pte Ltd has maintained its status as a leader in Singapore’s radiopharmaceutical and molecular imaging sector by being constantly in the forefront of the latest developments in diagnostic healthcare. RadLink partners with world-renowned diagnostic equipment manufacturers to launch cutting-edge diagnostic equipment. For this, Radlink Asia won the Healthcare Asia Awards 2019 for Diagnostics Provider of the Year.

Amongst the Company’s notable investments include a highly advanced CT scanner in Singapore and Southeast Asia’s first fully-digital PET/CT scanner. The new scanner uses technology that detects smaller lesions, assisting clinicians in their efforts to diagnose and stage disease for early treatment planning in oncology, neurology, and cardiology. Radiation and scan times are also reduced. RadLink Asia also launched several high-performance machines such as the GE Revolution CT, the SIGNA Explorer MRI, and the O-Scan, a dedicated extremity MRI. Moreover, RadLink is the only private radiology centre accredited to perform image-guided breast biopsy procedures like MRI and ultrasound breast biopsy.

Meanwhile, RadLink’s radiopharmaceutical unit, Singapore Radiopharmaceuticals Pte Ltd, is the exclusive manufacturer and supplier of VIZAMYL in Singapore on behalf of GE Healthcare. VIZAMYL is the first-and-only beta-amyloid imaging agent for colour image interpretation approved by the US FDA and the European Medicines Agency. It can effectively detect plaques in adult patients with cognitive impairment such as Alzheimer’s disease (AD) or other causes of cognitive decline, offering the prospect of earlier diagnosis for such patients.

The Healthcare Asia Awards 2019 was held on 23 May 2019 at the Conrad Singapore.

This year's panel of judges includes Abhay Bangi, Partner, Life Sciences & Healthcare Lead, Ernst & Young; Loke Wai Chiong, Executive Director, Healthcare Sector Leader, Deloitte; Zubin Daruwalla, Director, SEAC Health Industries Leader, PwC; Chin Chee Choon, Advisory Leader, Nexia TS; and Willy Leow, Partner, Risk Advisory Services, BDO LLP.
