Western Australia Health, Baret to roll out state-wide messaging system

The platform supports secure communications amongst clinical and frontline staff.

The Western Australia Department of Health has entered a multi-year partnership with healthcare communication technology provider Baret to implement a role-based messaging solution.

The platform is designed to facilitate secure, closed-loop communications amongst clinical and frontline staff across the state’s public health system.

The initial deployment will support the System Flow Centre, which operates within the newly launched State Health Operations Centre, a multi-agency coordination hub for emergency health services.

It will use Microsoft Teams as its underlying enterprise-grade technology.
