Tam Anh General Hospital deploys new CT Scanner with over 100,000 slices
It features 0.4 mm slices to detect minute lesions, facilitating early diagnosis.
Tam Anh General Hospital in Hanoi, Vietnam, has deployed the Somatom Force VB30 CT scanner by Siemens Healthineers, capable of generating over 100,000 slices to produce highly detailed images.
The scanner features 0.4 mm slices to detect minute lesions, facilitating early diagnosis of conditions like cancer.
The machine also reduces X-ray radiation exposure by up to 85% compared to conventional CT scanners.
In addition, it incorporates artificial intelligence to improve anatomical analysis, automate image selection, and reduce human error.
