Taiwan hospital secures contract for ProteusONE proton therapy solution

The hospital expects to start treating patients in late 2028.

Taiwan’s Tri-Service General Hospital has a signed contract with Belgium’s Ion Beam Applications (IBA), a particle accelerator technology company, for the supply of a ProteusONE compact proton therapy solution.

ProteusONE is a compact proton therapy system, upgradable over time to continue to offer the latest technology to IBA users.

It will also include DynamicARC beam delivery capabilities once the feature receives regulatory clearance.
