St. Andrew’s Community Hospital opens second facility in Bedok South
The facility will install AI-driven falls prevention in beds and toilets by mid-2026.
St. Andrew’s Community Hospital in Singapore has unveiled its second facility in Bedok South.
The facility, developed in partnership with the Ministry of Health and MOH Holdings, comprises 100 community hospital beds and 140 transitional care beds.
The hospital has incorporated dementia-friendly design features, such as ward pantries to encourage social interaction and activity areas aimed at supporting patient well-being.
The hospital plans to equip all beds and patient toilets with an AI-driven falls prediction and prevention system by mid-2026.
