The CDA will be established on 1 April.

Singapore’s Ministry of Health (MOH) has named Kenneth Mak, Director-General of Health, as chairman of the inaugural board for the Communicable Diseases Agency (CDA), which will be established on 1 April.

As Chair, Mak will help guide the agency's strategic direction and support the integration and coordination of national policy and operations for infectious diseases across the healthcare sector.

Moreover, he is expected to lead the CDA to pursue MOH's policy goals in improving preparedness and response to future public health challenges and pandemics.
