‘SHIFT’ Innovation Center launches in Riyadh

It features Digi X-Lab to leverage data and AI technologies in healthcare.

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Health, in partnership with Siemens Healthineers, has inaugurated the ‘SHIFT’ Innovation Center in Riyadh.

The facility features Digi X-Lab, a Siemens Healthineers unit that allows researchers and clinicians to apply data and artificial intelligence technologies in healthcare.

The centre is designed to support innovation and scientific research, and develop national capabilities for knowledge transfer and integration of global expertise with local insights.

In addition, it aims to forge partnerships amongst healthcare and research organisations, startups, and innovators.
