Saudi Arabia's air ambulance market to reach $337.7m by 2030

The hospital-based segment accounted for 80% of market share in 2023.

The Saudi Arabia air ambulance market is projected to reach $337.7m by 2030 at a compound annual growth rate of 6.1%, according to Research and Markets.

The sector’s expansion is attributed to a rise in per capita healthcare expenditure and the increasing penetration of private hospital chains.

The hospital-based segment dominated the market, accounting for 80% of the share in 2023. Its growth is due to a lack of medical facilities in certain areas and the demand for improved services that require airlifting of patients in critical conditions.

Moreover, the prevalence of chronic diseases is expected to fuel the market, with cardiac disorders accounting for an estimated 42% of fatalities in Saudi Arabia.
