Qatar temporarily closes private health centre over staffing shortage

This practice violates the regulations and standards approved in the state.

Qatar’s Ministry of Public Health has temporarily closed a private health centre after an inspection revealed it was operating with insufficient medical staff.

Officials determined that the facility was operating with fewer healthcare practitioners than required, in violation of approved healthcare standards in the state.

The Ministry stresses the importance of fulfilling statutory requirements when carrying out any health-related activities to protect patient safety and maintain healthcare quality.
