
NSW to build new ambulance station in Glendenning
This is part of the $615.5m infrastructure programme.
The government of New South Wales is set to build a new ambulance station in Glendenning, Doonside following the purchase of a site for the project.
In a statement, authorities said the project is under the government’s $615.5m NSW Ambulance Infrastructure Programme. It will support local paramedics to provide emergency and mobile medical care.
The purchasing of the site will be followed by design development and progressing planning approval. Construction and operational timeframes will be determined as the project progresses.
The NSW Ambulance Infrastructure Program will deliver 30 additional ambulance stations and supporting infrastructure across Sydney, the Central Coast, Newcastle, the Hunter and Wollongong over the coming years.
Prior to Glendenning, sites were already identified for North Sydney, South Windsor, Oran Park, Berowra, Prestons, Moss Vale, Bargo, and Lisarow.
