NHCS, Agilent partner to advance metabolic heart failure research
The organisations will combine expertise with analytical technologies.
The National Heart Centre Singapore and Agilent Technologies have signed a five-year memorandum of understanding to advance research on metabolic heart failure.
Under the agreement, the organisations will combine expertise in human cardiac organoids using human-derived heart tissues with analytical technologies.
The collaboration will use Agilent’s ‘Seahorse XF Flex Analyzer’ to enable real-time metabolic analysis in 3D tissues and organoid models, aiming to investigate the metabolic mechanisms underlying heart failure.
