New virtual menopause health hub launches in NSW, Australia
It offers medical, nursing and allied health services in south-western Sydney.
The Australian government has announced the launch of a new virtual menopause health hub in New South Wales (NSW) for women experiencing severe or complex symptoms.
The South Western Sydney Local Health District Specialist Menopause Service forms part of NSW Health’s broader menopause network and is amongst four dedicated hubs operating across the state.
The hub offers medical, nursing and allied health services in south-western Sydney and acts as a referral site for patients in the Nepean Blue Mountains, Western NSW and Murrumbidgee Local Health Districts.
Patients can attend appointments via telehealth on a phone, computer, laptop or handheld device.
Meanwhile, face-to-face consultations are available when required.
