Moama ambulance station planned for New South Wales

The station is planned to start operations later this year.

A new ambulance station is set to be built at Wild Avenue, Moama, in New South Wales (NSW), according to the Australian government.

The station is planned to start operations later this year as a critical hub for paramedics responding to emergencies.

The facility will house three NSW Ambulance vehicles and be staffed by five paramedics. It is part of a broader state initiative to deliver 500 additional paramedics to regional and rural communities.

NSW Ambulance identified Moama as a high-priority location for a new station following a comprehensive service planning process to enhance cross-border resilience with Victoria.
