Medicover Hospital Navi Mumbai launches unit for stroke emergencies
It is equipped with rapid CT/MRI imaging and neuro-ICU support.
Medicover Hospital, Navi Mumbai, has launched a 24×7 stroke unit to deliver immediate and specialised care for stroke emergencies.
The unit is equipped with rapid CT/MRI imaging, thrombolysis, and thrombectomy services, as well as neuro-ICU support and a trained multidisciplinary stroke team.
Stroke continues to be one of the leading causes of death and disability in India, said Pawan Ojha, Consultant Neurologist and Director Neurosciences (Maharashtra), Medicover Hospitals, Navi Mumbai.
“Our goal is not just to treat stroke, but to build awareness, encourage early intervention, and provide world-class care that gives patients a second chance at life,” Ojha added.
