Medical support centre for foreign patients moves to Seoul Station

Consultations in English, Chinese, Japanese, or Russian are available.

The Medical Korea Information Centre for foreign patients has relocated to Seoul Station, according to the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Korea Health Industry Development Institute.

The centre offers guidance on selecting medical institutions, booking appointments, connecting with multilingual interpreters, reporting illegal foreign patient recruitment, and assisting with VAT refunds for cosmetic and plastic surgery services.

Moreover, the facility offers a one-stop consultation service for medical disputes, from initial counselling to assistance with submissions to the Korea Medical Dispute Mediation and Arbitration Agency.

Patients can visit in person or contact the facility via the ‘Medical Call’ service for consultations in English, Chinese, Japanese, or Russian.
