M42, Bahrain Royal Medical Services to advance heart and lung transplants
Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, a member of the M42, will provide specialised services.
M42 and Bahrain’s Royal Medical Services have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) focused on advancing heart and lung transplant procedures for Bahraini patients.
As part of the agreement, Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, a member of the M42 group, will provide specialised transplant services.
The partnership will also facilitate medical education and knowledge exchange, including fellowship programmes for clinical staff and the provision of advanced laboratory diagnostic services.
The MoU was signed by Shaikh Fahad bin Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, Commander of Royal Medical Services, and Hasan Jasem Al Nowais, Managing Director and Group CEO of M42 and Chairman of Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.
