Joondalup Health Campus unveils expanded public ward block, theatre complex
Key features include 46 contemporary individual patient rooms across two new wards.
A new 106-bed public ward block and an expanded public theatre complex have opened at the Joondalup Health Campus, according to the Australian government.
The ward block includes 46 contemporary individual patient rooms across two new wards, with a further 60 beds to be fitted out by mid-2026, following an additional $15.7m (A$24m) investment as part of the State Budget 2025-26.
Meanwhile, the theatre block features one new public theatre and two new interventional catheter laboratories.
The expansion doubles capacity for image-guided cardiac and vascular procedures, such as angioplasty and pacemaker implantation.
