India’s Kauvery group launches 200-bed hospital for women and children

The facility offers services in the fields of OB/GYN and paediatrics.

The Kauvery Group of Hospitals has unveiled Maa Kauvery, an exclusive 200-bed hospital for women and children in Trichy, India.

The new facility features an 11-bed emergency department, a paediatric intensive care unit (PICU), a high dependency unit (HDU), and a 50-bed neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).

Moreover, Maa Kauvery includes an exclusive burns care unit and a unit dedicated to bone marrow, liver, and renal transplantation.

The hospital also offers services in different specialities including obstetrics and gynaecology (OB/GYN), paediatrics, dermatology, cardiology, and critical care amongst others.
