IHH Healthcare chairman Tan Sri Azlan retires from BOD

He was initially appointed Khazanah’s representative on the Board of Parkway Holdings Limited in 2009.

IHH Healthcare has announced the retirement of chairman Tan Sri Mohammed Azlan bin Hashim from the group’s board of directors.

The retirement was made effective during the group’s 14th Annual General Meeting for the year ended 31 December 2023.

“The group’s outstanding performance in FY2023 – financially, operationally and in terms of governance and sustainability – speaks to IHH’s firm foundations and the support of our stakeholders,” Hashim said.

“I have no doubt that under the management team led by Dr Prem and the board of directors, IHH will achieve its aspiration to care,” Hashim added.

Hashim was initially appointed Khazanah’s representative on the Board of Parkway Holdings Limited in 2009 and served as Deputy Chairman and Chairman for over 13 years.

Meanwhile, the group has announced that a final cash dividend of 5.5 sen per ordinary share was paid on 26 April.

Moreover, the group has paid out 100% of the gains from the sale of IMU as a special dividend, increasing the total for dividends paid out in FY23 to 18.6 sen per share.
