IHH Healthcare adopts new data platform for modernised healthcare
The organisation has migrated its Singapore and Malaysia databases into the new platform.
IHH Healthcare (IHH) has partnered with Oracle to modernise its operations in Singapore and Malaysia through the enterprise database platform, Oracle Exadata.
In a statement, the healthcare provider managed to boost its efficiency by 75% and reduce its operational cost by 40%.
The platform allows IHH to manage its data to improve patient services whilst maintaining data privacy.
The platform also supplies the provider features including transaction processing, analytics, and mixed workloads whilst meeting strict data residency requirements of different countries

The move has enabled IHH Singapore to migrate its core application workloads, including electronic medical records used by more than 5,000 staff, to the tech provider’s Exadata Database service on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
Meanwhile, IHH Malaysia has moved its database workloads including its patient management system, appointment booking system, lab information, and billings into a cloud system.
