This follows an $11m investment.
Fiji’s Lautoka Hospital has unveiled a series of new medical facilities following an $11m investment.
The new facilities include a cardiac catheterisation laboratory, a magnetic resonance imaging suite, a dedicated fast-track unit in the emergency department, and an isolation room.
“These facilities will go a long way in providing the type of special care that we have longed waited for in this country,” Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Biman Prasad said during the inauguration.
