HMI Medical acquires majority stake in Advanced Urology Associates

The move expands the group’s portfolio of specialist groups.

Health Management International Pte Ltd (HMI Medical) has announced a partnership with its fifth specialist group by acquiring a majority stake in Advanced Urology Associates.

The move expands HMI Medical’s portfolio of specialist groups, which includes the Eagle Eye Centre, Eagle Aesthetics and Surgery, Harley Street Heart & Vascular Centre, and The Orthopaedic Practice and Surgery.

Chin Wei Jia, Group CEO at HMI Medical, noted that the collaboration aligns with their aim to enhance urology care amidst Singapore’s rapidly ageing population.

Prostate cancer is the most common cancer amongst men, whilst urinary tract infections rank amongst the top 10 causes of mortality in Singapore.
