Healthcare simulation programmes launched for SEA professionals
Both initiatives will begin by the end of 2026, targeting 50 participants in the first year.
Healthcare simulation certification programmes for Southeast Asian professionals were launched at the S3 Conference in Singapore.
The ‘Certified Educator in Healthcare Simulation’ and ‘Certified Technologist in Healthcare Simulation’ programmes will provide training in simulation-based medical education for doctors, nurses, and technical specialists across the region.
Both are scheduled to begin by the end of 2026, with a target of 50 participants in the inaugural year.
The programmes were developed through collaboration between SingHealth Duke-NUS Institute of Medical Simulation, the Pan Asia Simulation Society in Healthcare, and the Malaysian Society for Simulation in Healthcare.
