Alex Boulton is a Bain partner leading the Healthcare and Life Sciences practice for Southeast Asia and has co-authored Bain’s APAC Frontline of Healthcare Report since 2019. 

Since joining Bain in 2010, Alex has led numerous strategy and transformation programs with healthcare companies across the region and value chain; covering payers, providers, pharma, MedTech and digital health.

Sowmya Srinath is a seasoned healthcare strategist with over 19 years of experience driving transformation across the global healthcare ecosystem. A recognized thought leader, she brings deep expertise across healthcare delivery, medical technology, diagnostics, pharmaceuticals and digital health. Her work spans a broad spectrum of stakeholders — from healthcare providers and industry players to investors, government bodies, and industry associations. She has successfully led and advised initiatives across emerging markets including APAC, Middle East, India, China, Russia and Africa.

She advises on go-to-market strategies, due diligence, concept testing, feasibility assessments, and portfolio optimization. In addition to her work with private-sector clients, she also supports public sector entities and governments on large-scale healthcare transformation initiatives.

Dr Melvyn Chin is the Associate Director (PSM) for ECRI Asia Pacific and is responsible for creating products, solutions and research initiatives related to patient safety and healthcare as well as supporting business development and project management in the APAC region. Prior to joining ECRI, Dr Melvyn was the National Technical Advisor for Occupational Safety and Health for all public hospitals and medical institutions in Malaysia, a committee board member for the Medical Research Ethics Committee MOH Malaysia, the Head of the Occupational Safety and Health Unit and the Deputy Head of Clinical Research Centre for a tertiary hospital in Malaysia. 

Dr Melvyn is an experienced occupational health clinician and health research bioethicist with a demonstrated history of working in the medical practice industry and healthcare management.

Dr Melvyn graduated with an MBBS medical degree from Melaka Manipal Medical College. He received his Licentiate of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine from the Royal College of Physicians in 2015 and obtained Leadership in Medicine certification from Harvard Medical School in 2021. In 2023, he completed his Masters in Health Research Ethics with distinction from University Malaya in collaboration with the Berman Institute of Bioethics at Johns Hopkins University.
 

Uli is leading the technology, digital transformation and data agenda for Fullerton Health. In this role he spearheads the rollout of core IT and TPA systems across all Fullerton Health sites, drives adoption of AI and Automation to enhance operational excellence and establish a robust data management framework to enable data-driven decision-making. He is also leading the development of Customer-Centric digital platforms, empowering customers with seamless access to Fullertons’ healthcare ecosystem.

Uli has three decades of international experience, primarily in Asia and Europe. He has held senior leadership roles at major organizations such as Wipro, Atos and HP. His expertise spans cloud strategy, digital platforms, cybersecurity, data analytics, edge computing, and large-scale application development. He has a proven track record of leading transformation initiatives, building high-performance teams, and delivering complex, high-value projects for global clients across banking, government, and health sectors.
 

Aslyn Koh is Chief Information Officer at Thomson Medical Group and a recognized leader in digital transformation across healthcare and public sector ecosystems. With more than 15 years of experience spanning GovTech Singapore, NTUC, and Thomson Medical, she specialises in translating complex technology strategies into scalable platforms that improve service delivery and user experience. At Thomson Medical, she has led the Group’s digital transformation roadmap and the migration of its Electronic Medical Records system, while advancing automation, cybersecurity, and cross-border technology integration. Her work sits at the intersection of technology, healthcare, and organisational change—demonstrating how digital innovation can strengthen institutions and transform patient journeys.

Dr. Aung Myint Oo @ Ye Jian Guo is a Senior Consultant Surgeon in the Department of General Surgery and a Deputy Chief Medical Informatics Officer in Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Singapore.

He is also a clinical senior lecturer at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore, and an adjunct senior lecturer / clinical module lead (gastrointestinal system) with Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, Nanyang Technological University of Singapore.

Dr. Aung completed his basic and advanced surgical training in Singapore.  He was awarded Health Manpower Development Plan (HMDP) scholarship to undergo his fellowship training in advance minimally invasive upper gastrointestinal surgery at Seoul National University Bundang Hospital, Korea. He is a member of international societies for endo-laparoscopic surgeons and bariatric surgeons. He is currently the executive board member, and was the immediate past scientific chairman of the Obesity and Metabolic Surgery Society of Singapore (OMSSS), Chairman of Chapter of General Surgeons, College of Surgeons, Academy of Medicine Singapore, as well as member of the Communication Committee of International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity and Metabolic Disorders (IFSO). He also sits on the executive committee of SingSPEN (Society of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition, Singapore) and is also a member of the Singapore Cancer Society Gastric Cancer Awareness Month Committee.  He is actively involved in the Digital Transformation Project of ELSA (Endoscopic and Laparoscopic Surgeons of Asia) and is also the Co-Chair of ELSA's Communication & Informatics Committee.

Dr. Aung is active in both clinical research and teaching. He was awarded the Ministry of Health Healthcare Research Scholarship in 2013 to pursue Master of Clinical Investigation (MCI) at National University of Singapore and he was conferred MCI in 2016.  He is also a Co-Investigator of international gastric cancer research trials.  Not only has he published his research works in peer reviewed medical journals, he is also a reviewer of peer-reviewed medical journals.  He is currently an instructor of Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) courses, as well as a core faculty/ faculty of the Surgical Residency programmes in Singapore.  He is also an e-tutor of MSc in Surgical Science, Edinburgh Surgical Science Qualifications, UK and a Visiting Lecturer to the Department of Thoracic Surgery, University of Medicine 1, Yangon in Myanmar, as well as a member of the Surgical Specialty Board in General Surgery with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

Jonathan is a Senior Associate in Baker McKenzie Wong & Leow's IPTech practice. Jonathan works closely with a range of clients in the healthcare industry, ranging from multinational pharmaceutical and medical device companies, biotech and medtech start-ups, to healthcare service providers. He advises keenly on healthcare regulatory issues, including market entry, compliance, commercial and contentious matters. He also advises on emerging trends in the healthcare industry, such as AI in healthcare and digital health issues.

Professor Aymeric Lim is Chief Executive Officer of National University Hospital and Senior Consultant in its Department of Hand & Reconstructive Microsurgery. He is also Professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. With three decades of experience, he is internationally recognised for his work in peripheral nerve surgery and upper limb reconstruction. Under his leadership, NUH drives a digital-first strategy, pioneering AI in patient care to deliver smarter, faster, and more personalised outcomes. Professor Lim’s career spans leadership in healthcare, education, and humanitarian missions, earning him numerous national accolades for excellence and service.

Adj Prof Tang Kong Choong leads Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH) with a clear vision to advance tertiary care and academic excellence, underpinned by digital transformation and workforce renewal. As Chief Executive Officer (CEO), he drives Phase 2 of the HealthCity Novena Masterplan, elevating TTSH’s role as a future-ready hub of care and learning. An accredited anaesthetist, Prof Tang has held progressive leadership roles in TTSH since 2020, moving from Senior Consultant to Assistant CEO, then Deputy CEO. Prior to this, he had a distinguished career with the Singapore Armed Forces, where he served as Chief of Medical Corps. There, he led key innovations in medical support systems, electronic health records, and paramedic training. He also chaired the National Advanced Trauma Life Support Committee and served as board director of the Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority. Prof Tang’s career reflects his commitment to advancing both clinical and operational excellence in healthcare.

Dr. Zaw Win Sandy is a distinguished healthcare executive with over 18 years of experience in hospital operations, workforce strategy, and healthcare innovation across Myanmar and the Asia-Pacific region. Born and raised in Myanmar, she holds an MBBS from the University of Medicine (1), Yangon, and began her career at Yangon General Hospital before transitioning into healthcare leadership. She later earned an MBA from James Cook University, Australia, and gained international management experience in Singapore as Clinic Operations Manager at City Health Clinics, where she was exposed to high-performing outpatient and primary care models. Dr. Sandy joined Pun Hlaing International Hospital in 2011 and progressed rapidly through senior leadership roles, including Talent Management Director for the Pun Hlaing–Siloam Hospitals joint venture. She led human capital strategy, workforce planning, leadership development, and large-scale recruitment across hospitals and clinics in Yangon, Mandalay, and Taunggyi. In 2019, she assumed operations leadership of Pun Hlaing’s flagship Hlaing Tharyar Hospital. In 2020, she was appointed Chief Operating Officer of Emerging Health, where she founded HEAL by Pun Hlaing, an integrated hybrid healthcare ecosystem combining primary care, diagnostics, digital health platforms, and community-based services. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she led the establishment of four mass vaccination centers across three major cities, delivering over 300,000 vaccinations. Dr. Sandy served as Group Chief Operating Officer from March to November 2025 before being appointed Chief Executive Officer of Yoma-OUE Pun Hlaing Hospitals Group. As CEO, she provides overall leadership for the Group, driving strategic growth, operational excellence, clinical governance, and expanded access to quality healthcare nationwide. She is an Executive Director of First Myanmar Investment Co. Ltd (FMI), a Board Member of Sun Community Health (SCH), and an Advisory Board Member of Step In Step Up (SISU). She also serves as International Study Coordinator for the Australasian College of Health Service Management (ACHSM) and is actively involved in developing future healthcare leaders. Dr Eugene Shum is Director, Strategic Community Partnership at the SingHealth Office of Regional Health. He is also Senior Population & Public Health Consultant at Changi General Hospital. Through partnerships with community organisations, he has developed pioneering health-social initiatives such as the Neighbours for Active Living programme and CareLine, a 24/7 nationwide telecare service. These initiatives received the Ministry of Health National Clinical Excellence Team Awards in 2024 and 2022 respectively. Dr Shum has a special interest in urban health and the built environment where he has led initiatives such as the Pelatok Art Farm. He was previously Chief Corporate Development Officer at Eastern Health Alliance and Director, Medical Affairs and Innovation at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital. He has held various portfolios at the Ministry of Health, Singapore.

Dr Shum is a public health physician. He obtained his MBBS from the National University of Singapore and his Master of Public Health from the Bloomberg School of Public Health, Johns Hopkins University. He is Adjunct Associate Professor at the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health, National University of Singapore and the Singapore University of Technology and Design. He was awarded the Public Service Medal (Pingat Bakti Masyarakat) in 2020.

Anjili Kaushal leads value creation initiatives for healthcare delivery investments at Quadria Capital, Asia’s leading healthcare investor with over $4.6 billion in assets under management. She brings over 15 years of experience in healthcare delivery, hospital operations, healthcare IT, telemedicine, and strategy across leading institutions. Previously, she held roles at Max Healthcare, Fortis Healthcare, and AIG Hospitals, and oversaw the development of Asia’s largest TeleICU network.

Dr Melvin Heng is Executive Director and Group Chief Executive Officer of Thomson Medical Group, where he leads the Group’s strategy and growth as it evolves into a leading integrated healthcare platform across Southeast Asia. A physician- executive with experience spanning hospital management, primary care networks, MedTech innovation, and aeromedical services, Dr Heng brings a rare perspective that bridges clinical practice, healthcare operations, and technology-driven transformation. Prior to joining Thomson Medical, he held senior leadership roles at Gleneagles Hospital Singapore, including Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer, and previously practised medicine at Tan Tock Seng Hospital and within the National Health Service in the United Kingdom. He has also been actively involved in the region’s health innovation ecosystem as an advisor and investor in emerging MedTech companies and as a contributor to Singapore’s digital health agenda through the Ministry of Health Singapore’s Primary Care IT sub-committee for the National Electronic Health Records initiative. Widely recognised for his leadership during the COVID-19 period, he was awarded the Public Service Medal (COVID-19), Singapore in 2023.

Anastasia has over 20 years global and regional Life Sciences (MedTech, Pharma and Digital Health) and Healthcare (Public and Private) industry experience delivering large-scale transformation initiatives across a variety of first-line and second-line roles. Anastasia couples her strategic and sector expertise with strong data science and engineering foundations and qualifications to help drive, create and translate value across the healthcare ecosystem; for patients, providers, businesses and systems. Anastasia key focus areas are on developing and executing on pragmatic strategies related to (1) digital, data and AI  (2) commercial models and new product development and (3) innovation and emerging technology

Clinical Associate Professor Tan Hiang Khoon is a dynamic clinician leader who is currently serving as the CEO Singapore General Hospital. His career trajectory includes several key leadership roles within SingHealth. From 2021 to 2024, he served concurrently as Group Director of the International Collaboration Office (ICO) at SingHealth and Director of the SingHealth Duke-NUS Global Health Institute (SDGHI). Additionally, he took on the role of Deputy CEO (Future Health System), SGH from 2022 to 2024. Prior to these appointments, Dr Tan was the Chair of Surgery from 2015 to 2022.

With a distinguished career in head and neck surgery and surgical oncology, Dr Tan has made significant strides in healthcare leadership. He spearheaded the creation of the SingHealth Duke-NUS Head and Neck Disease Centre in 2013. As Chair of surgery, he led the integration of the Division of Surgery at Singapore General Hospital with the Division of Surgical Oncology at the National Cancer Centre Singapore to optimise care of surgical patients. Notably, during the COVID-19 pandemic, he established a 3,700-bed Community Care Facility, ensuring hospital capacities were maintained.

Dr Tan is dedicated to global health equity; he founded the Global Surgery Programme and initiated the Asian Surgical Leaders Network, which addresses the pandemic's impact on surgical health systems in Asia and develops strategies for health system resilience. His commitment to cost-conscious innovation led to a partnership with Duke University, resulting in a low-cost portable flexible nasopharyngoscope, enhancing diagnostic access in lower-resourced settings.

Dr Tan holds a medical degree from the National University of Singapore, a Ph.D. from the University of Bristol, and advanced training in head and neck surgical oncology from the Institute Gustave Roussy in Paris. He also earned an Executive Master in Business Administration from the National University of Singapore.

Aichi Chou is the CEO of the International Center at China Medical University Hospital in Taiwan. She is an expert in international healthcare management and healthcare quality management. She has established partnerships with medical institutions in various countries, promoting international healthcare cooperation.

Ram Nivas is an Associate Partner at EY-Parthenon, with over 13 years of experience in commercial, operations and strategy consulting, primarily within the health care and life sciences sectors across Asean and India. He specializes in growth strategy, value creation, digital and health tech strategy, commercial due diligence, business transformation and large program management. Notable achievements include developing comprehensive growth strategies for leading healthcare providers in Asean and value enhancement projects focused on procurement, staff productivity, health information system (HIS) review and digital initiatives, with the objective of improving EBITDA margins. He has successfully led digital strategy initiatives for major healthcare groups, assessing technology use cases and standardizing processes to enhance efficiency. Ram holds degrees from the Anna University in India and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management.

Beaver R. Tamesis, MD has been the President and Chief Executive Officer of Asian Hospital and Medical Center since November 1, 2022. Asian Hospital is part of Metro Pacific Health, the largest ne work of private hospitals in the Philippines.

A cardiologist by profession, Dr. Tamesis has been board-certified by the Philippine Heart Association since 1991. He is internationally published in cardiology and structured treatment protocols for diabetes, and continues to actively practice at The Medical City, where he previously served as Training Officer for Internal Medicine and later founded the Cardiology Fellowship Training Program. He is a Fellow in good standing of both the Philippine College of Physicians and the Philippine College of Cardiology.

Before joining Asian Hospital, Dr. Tamesis served as Managing Director and President of Merck Sharp and Dohme (MSD) I.A. LLC, a leading multinational pharmaceutical company. Over his 27-year career with MSD, he held key roles including Medical Director, Business Unit Director for Bone and Joint and Cardio-Metabolic, and Regional Marketing Director for the launch of the diabetes drug JANUVIA. He led MSD Philippines from 2013 until his retirement in March 2022.

While at MSD, he also served as President of the Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Association of the Philippines (PHAP) from 2016 to 2021, following two years as Trustee. In this role, he championed et ical business practices, worked closely with the Department of Health and the media to combat medical disinformation—particularly around vaccines and COVID-19—and helped shape a rational approach to medicine pricing in the country.

Under his leadership, Asian Hospital and Medical Center has achieved sustained excellence and recognition both locally and internationally. The hospital was reaccredited by the Joint Commission International (JCI) in 2025, reaffirming its commitment to world-class quality and patient safety. It has also been a three-time Gold Award winner at the Hospital Management Asia (HMA) Awards for Clinical Effectiveness and Financial Improvement (2023–2025). In 2024, Dr. Tamesis received the HMA Excellence Award as Hospital CEO of the Year, recognizing his transformative leadership and organizational innovation.

He was also included in the Asia CEO Awards’ Circle of Excellence as CEO of the Year—a testament to his vision, integrity, and unwavering commitment to advancing healthcare excellence in the Philippines.

As Founder of One Bee Consulting, Davis works with brands to elevate loyalty solutions, customer experience and brand affinity.

With a vision for available, accessible and affordable healthcare for all women in Asia, Davis founded FemTech Association Asia, the region’s first and largest specialist advisory and industry network. Focused on improving women’s health through technology solutions, this award-winning organisation represents 80+ startups across 10 countries.

As an authority on Asia’s femtech industry, Davis has been featured in media outlets including NASDAQ, CNA, The Business Times, Rice Media, SCMP and MediaCorp News 8.
