Health intelligent virtual assistant market to surge by $10.68b through 2028

Thanks to an increased focus on healthcare digitisation.

The global health intelligent virtual assistant market is projected to rise by $10.68b until 2028 at an estimated compound annual growth rate of 54.16%, said Technavio.

The sector’s expansion is attributed to an increasing focus on healthcare digitisation, with a trend towards the rising adoption of technology.

Moreover, the market is driven by the integration of deep neural networks and machine learning technologies in chatbots and voice assistants. These technologies enable AI-assisted chatbots to offer medical counselling, therapy, and prescription services.

The COVID-19 pandemic has also accelerated the adoption of data analytics in healthcare, with the emergence of new SARS-CoV-2 variants prompting increased use of health intelligent virtual assistants.

“These digital platforms guided clinicians in decision-making and assisted patients remotely, becoming essential tools in managing the increasing disease profiles and online patient information,” the report said.
