Gleneagles Hospital HK offers 1,000 free screenings for Hepatitis B
Residents aged 37–70 in the Southern or Central and Western Districts are eligible.
Gleneagles Hospital Hong Kong has launched a hepatitis B virus and anti-body screening programme, offering free blood tests to 1,000 eligible individuals to raise awareness of liver health.
The programme is available to individuals aged 37-70 who are not known hepatitis B carriers and reside in the Southern District or Central and Western District.
Eligible participants can receive a free test along with a report at Gleneagles Medical Clinic Central, Gleneagles Healthcare Wong Chuk Hang, or Gleneagles Healthcare Novum Place.
Meanwhile, a hepatitis B vaccine is available for those deemed clinically suitable, as well as follow-up consultations at discounted rates.
Before the blood test, a consultation with a doctor will be arranged. Participants will also receive relevant health advice and, if necessary, referrals to specialists.
