Forward works underway for Tom Price Health Service redevelopment

Major construction is scheduled to begin in the first half of 2026.

The $21.5m (A$33m) redevelopment of the Tom Price Health Service is set to begin, with the forward works contract awarded to Western Australian company Cooper & Oxley.

The purpose-built facility will include a modern emergency department, contemporary primary care facilities, including multipurpose consult and interview rooms, a four-bed inpatient ward, dental, and pathology services.

Major construction is scheduled to begin in the first half of 2026.

Meanwhile, early works for the site include earthworks, new access roads and flood mitigation measures.
